Goodwill Industries of Kentucky and Norton Healthcare are investing more than $100 million to transform a 20-acre site into the campus.

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky and Norton Healthcare are investing more than $100 million to transform a 20-acre site into a campus that will have Goodwill’s headquarters operation, a full-service hospital and a collection of local agencies according to a press release.

Construction begins on Goodwill Opportunity Campus, Norton Hospital in west Louisville

Plans are taking shape for the Goodwill Opportunity Campus in west Louisville that will be home to a new Norton Healthcare hospital.A groundbreaking was held on Tuesday at 28th and Broadway in the city’s Parkland neighborhood for the $100 million project.

”The word opportunity means conditions are ripe for success,” Goodwill Industries of Kentucky CEO Amy Luttrell said. “There are a lot of people that have never in their lives had had conditions that were never favorable for their success.”

Today, Goodwill Industries of Kentucky and Norton Healthcare broke ground on the Norton Healthcare Goodwill Opportunity Campus in West Louisville

Notice (5/6/22): As the Opportunity Campus completes its design, Goodwill is exploring new methods to accelerate construction and create more opportunity for subcontractors, vendors and small businesses.

Over the next six weeks, Goodwill will roll out a new timeline for bidding, contracting and construction. Bid packages will be restructured to remove additional barriers for soliciting, bidding and completing contracts. Monitor goodwillwestlouisville.com for more.
