CAMPUS PARTNERS
Goodwill has partnered with multiple co-located community agencies to provide crucial resources and services to West Louisville residents. Partners include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana; The Kentucky Career Center; Power of Work; Kentucky College of Barbering; Legal Aid Society; Park Community Credit Union; the U of L College of Dentistry; Volunteers of America; and YMCA of Greater Louisville. There is a plan to rotate space for outside community partners as well.

Norton Healthcare
Norton Healthcare is a leader in serving adult and pediatric patients from throughout Greater Louisville, Southern Indiana, the Commonwealth of Kentucky and beyond. The not-for-profit hospital and health care system is Louisville’s second largest employer, with more than 18,000 employees, over 1,700 employed medical providers and approximately 2,000 total physicians on its medical staff.
Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Kentuckiana
For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 7 through 16, in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Blak Koffee
Blak Koffee operates with a mission to offer a safe and vibrant atmosphere that is welcoming, culturally conscious and conducive for business, relaxation, socialization and networking, all while offering exceptional coffee and service. Owners Kevin and Ronyale Smith built the business with an emphasis on diversity, community, quality and economic empowerment.
Power of Work
Power of Work provides career services for individuals receiving TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) and SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits. Participants are connected with the resources and guidance they need to smoothly transition into stable employment. Power of Work is a partnership between KentuckianaWorks and Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, Inc.
Kentucky Career Center
The team at the Louisville region’s comprehensive Kentucky Career Center supports workers at every stage of their career path, from finding a new job after a lay-off to making a career change. They also work with employers to help them meet their hiring needs. The Kentucky Career Center is run by KentuckianaWorks, the region’s workforce development board, and serves clients from Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble counties.
Kentucky College of Barbering
Kentucky College of Barbering’s mission is to provide the highest quality of education and training to help meet the needs of the Louisville community while enabling students to achieve personal and professional goals and ultimately find gainful employment in the barbering field. The school keeps a professional atmosphere in which an experienced and dedicated staff encourages students’ personal and practical skills.
Legal Aid Society
Founded in 1921, Legal Aid Society’s mission is to make justice accessible to all, regardless of financial status. It provides free civil legal help on issues related to income, family, housing, safety and health. The service area includes the following Kentucky counties: Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hardin, Henry, Jefferson, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble and Washington.
Park Community Credit Union
Park Community was established in 1965 to serve the employees of General Electric’s Appliance Park in Louisville, Kentucky, hence the name “Park” Community Credit Union. While the members who can be served has changed over the years, Park’s mission to provide exceptional service and a full range of financial products has not. The philosophy continues to focus on the credit union motto of “people helping people” and to be a full-service financial institution for those in need.
University of Louisville College of Dentistry
The University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD) enjoys a rich heritage in dental education and a reputation for clinical excellence that reaches back to the 1800s. The school excels in offering hands-on, high-tech, community-focused experiences that develop tomorrow’s leaders in oral health care while addressing issues of oral health equity and access.
Volunteers of America
Throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Volunteers of America helps real people facing real challenges to find lasting solutions. Through research-driven programming, its services address family homelessness, addiction, developmental disabilities, HIV infection and other issues facing individuals and communities. Since 1896, the nonprofit has supported and empowered America’s most vulnerable groups, including veterans, at-risk youth, the elderly, men and women returning from prison, homeless individuals and families, people with disabilities and those recovering from addictions.
YMCA of Greater Louisville
The YMCA strives to serve all by strengthening the Louisville community. The nonprofit works side by side with community neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
