MEET EMERY LEE, WEST LOUISVILLE OPPORTUNITY CENTER DIRECTOR
A West Louisville native, Emery Lee is the Director of the West Louisville Opportunity Center, where he is responsible for administrative oversight of the Center, which includes Goodwill’s career services model, co-located partners and more.
Lee has 30 years of professional experience in the area of human service, with focuses on youth, seniors and disadvantaged families in the Louisville community. His career has included collaboration with the Lincoln Foundation’s Whitney M. YOUNG Scholars Program, Kentuckiana College Access Center, Louisville Urban League’s Career Development Center, Jefferson Community and Technical College, Louisville Metro Community Action Partnership, the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana and the Salvation Army. He is the founder and senior pastor of No More Limits Christian Church in Louisville.
A community advocate, Lee has served on several local boards and community organizations, such as the Louisville Metro Dollars for Scholars, House of Ruth, Descendants of American Slaves Ministerial Alliance, Interdenominational Ministerial Coalition, the Fuller Center for Housing of Louisville and Service for Peace. He has also served more than 10 years as a member and chair of the Dr. Martin Luther King State Commission.
